Built by a student who got tired of neck pain
Hi, I'm Mayur Shewale, founder of Sunchhaya and BIJASANI.
Our story started at my own study table. Long hours bent over books gave me constant neck pain. I searched every website for a proper stand for reading and writing, and nothing sold in India did the job. The only good designs I found were on overseas websites, and that's how I got curious about ergonomics and building a healthier study setup.
Why we started making our own
We first imported a few stands. The quality let us down: weak boards, loose panels, screws coming out. So we started our own research and development, redesigned the stands and began building them ourselves.
Today about 70% of the parts in every stand are made in India, and every stand is assembled and quality-checked at our own unit near Nashik, Maharashtra. Because we make them ourselves, quality control stays in our hands, not a supplier's.
